...And we topped off the birthday evening with bowling! There's not a ton to do in this small town of ours - but bowling is always a fun little option. None of us are bowlers, but we sure have fun trying. I think most of the adults in the group need the bumpers just as much as the children do! We often bounce the bowling ball down the alley - it lands with a loud thud and we all cringe and then giggle. At least this time nobody's ball ended up in the wrong lane. Because, yes, its happened And nobody fell either, which is an improvement. And of course when the (very) rare strike occurs, everyone claps and high-fives one another and makes quite an issue out of it. But anyway, it was a fun day - and a very full day - there's nothing better than spending time with family and having so much fun and laughter together......love it!
