Shasta recently celebrated her 23rd birthday. She and Jon spent a short time at our house before heading out for a special supper and a movie. She didn't want to spoil her upcoming supper by eating a piece of the birthday cake we had prepared for her...and by the time she got home most of the cake had already been eaten by her loving (and thoughtful) family members (in her honor, of course!)...but we did save her one piece, which she ate for breakfast the next morning.
