Bikers!

With spring here, the bikes have all been taken out of the garage! The kids have been tearing around the yard and riding up & down the driveway, and to watch them they seem to be on a collision course with one another.

We've also dusted off our trusty old "kid-carrier"---we've had the same one for years & years. The colors are all faded and it's getting holes in it, and this year Wayne had to order a new hitch for it. We've pulled lots of babies & toddlers with it over the years...it's looking rougher every year, but it still hangs in there.

It's been a favorite thing lately to go on an after-supper bike ride with their dad. Every spring and summer Wayne says he's going to start riding his bike to work every day---to conserve on gas, ya know---but it never goes any further than that. But at least he rides with the kids...the only time my bike gets taken out of its corner in the garage is when one of the girls decide to play 'bike-switch' and swaps there bike for mine.

I guess if we were to be graded for interactive exercise with our kids, Wayne would pass with a very passable grade but I'm afraid that I would fail miserably. The kids? Well, lets just say that it would be great to bottle some of their energy!
