Ceara and Ted's wedding is just around the corner. She's had her wedding dress for several months and the bridesmaids dresses were ordered and arrived a few weeks ago. All the girls have such busy schedules that it's often hard for them to find time where they can all be together for any length of time. So when one afternoon last week we realized each of them had about a one-hour opportunity of free time, they committed to meeting up at our house to try on dresses. Ceara has chosen each of her sisters to be bridesmaids, junior bridesmaid and flower girl as well as Ted's only sister to be a bridesmaid, and Elsie to also be a flower girl. It's quite a crew of girls! Our daughter, Ana, as well as Ted's sister, who both live out of town, each have their bridesmaid dresses but, of course, weren't with on this afternoon. But thats okay, Ceara got a good idea how everyone will look in their dresses - and I think they all looked pretty darn good!
Next up is buying some bright pink heels for the girls...
and making a final choice on which dresses the junior bridesmaid (Marissa)
and the flower girls (Emma & Elsie) will be wearing.
I think it's going to be a fun, colorful and an energy-filled wedding...
the middle of July will be here before we know it.
