Earlier in the week Laura, Shasta, James and I went on a day long shopping trip. We traveled over an hour away to the city with lots of shopping options, unlike the little towns around here. We got kind of a late start simply because Laura had morning college classes and so we picked her up once she was done and then started on our little trip. The reason for our shopping? Spring break for Laura begins next week and she is headed to Florida for thirteen days - and she wanted to buy some new, fun, summery clothes to bring with. And of course, we girls gladly accompanied her. We had lots of ideas and opinions for Laura --- and she came home loaded with lots of fun clothes....as well as an empty pocket book. But, dang, she'll look cute. So it guess it's rather worth it! ha!

James came with us. He's a cute and funny little boy...but, oh my, he's busy!! He loved peeking under the fitting room doors as Laura and Shasta tried things on....
Don't let this photo fool you - he looks as though he's sitting so patiently...and he was, indeeed ---- for about five seconds....and that might be stretching it a bit!
My beautiful girl....she so could be a fashion model....but is much too humble and has no clue just how lovely she really is....

Ha, no uggs will be needed in Florida...but she bought lots of shorts and cute sleeveless tops, like this white one she has on...
All pooped out and done with shopping...Laura and James found a Caribou Coffee and took off down the hallway of the mall to buy a cuppa coffee before heading home....
It was a good and fun day. We got home late and Laura came home with lots of cute things. I wish I was going to Florida with her - maybe she can find some room to squeeze me in her suitcase.
Ha, I only wish....
