The afternoon of the Snoball dance finally rolled around in mid-January and Lisa and a few of her friends got ready for the dance at our house. Ceara helped them with their make-up and hair - Shasta and her kids also came over to hang out with the girls and to take pictures. Ted was also over for a few hours as well as the rest of the family - and we ended up with a houseful. We had snacks for everyone and I also made dinner for everyone. The girls had fun --- they took over the bathroom and the dining room table with all their hair products, make-up, nail polish, and everything else they needed. Ceara set up a 'salon' of sorts in the dining room, with the big mirror and extra lighting in order to fix hair. Lots of giggling, talking, music, and snacking went on that afternoon. It was a little chaotic at times with so many people, but it was tons of fun watching and listening to all the girls together as they got ready and joked around...
