Contract

"We need your help, mom...we need to make a contract!!"

Marissa and Emma went on to explain how Emma had decided that Ceara needed help planning her wedding and Emma's plan was to become Ceara's 'wedding assistant' --- but first she  needed a contract!  And so Emma, Marissa, and I sat down and jotted down a list of 'requirements' before presenting it to Ceara for a signature.  Ceara said, 'nope' to a few things on the contract,  but in the end, they agreed payment would be a container of chocolate frosting.  Ha!  In my younger children's eyes there's nothing better than chocolate frosting, the treat-of-all-treats, especially since they are not able to consume regular chocolate bars like most kids, because of our diet issues.  And so Emma has done a few small things for Ceara and she ended up with her very own container of frosting (now long gone) out of the deal....and she was happy.  Which just goes to prove that it takes very little to make my kids happy. (Unfortunately, not all the time, though.)
