Jump!

I'm not too fond of spring because, being the visual person I am, spring in this neck of the woods isn't very pretty.  Everything is just so brown and dead looking until about mid-May when it finally begins to green up and the trees begin to bud out.  I know, I should just be happy for all the wonderful spring things that happen - and I am, for sure - but it's just not very pretty or colorful.  And I haven't even mentioned the mud and dirt that's tracked onto the sidewalk and into the house.....sigh....and that makes me a little crazy.

But, all that said, my kids love spring.  Just gettin' out into the fresh air and shedding layers of clothes is pure heaven to them.  They drag out their bikes, kick off their shoes, dig through their summery clothes and run around clothed as though it were seventy degrees outside.  A long Minnesota winter does that to us.

They have been getting re-aquainted with the trampoline now that spring is here.  One afternoon they moved the tramp next to the house and got out the ladder and thought it might be cool to climb onto the roof and then jump down onto the tramp.  It's really not that much of a distance to jump, but they thought it was pretty cool...but soon got bored of it and went on to other adventures....the next day they did it a few more times and, I'm told, the neighbor boy joined them...

And yes, lets not forget all the times they crawled through the window in order to get out onto the trampoline.  No reason why, other than they just could.
Here they are leaning back into the house while still on the tramp...
outside, looking in.
Crazy.
