a summer night

a new clothing store at the mall
recently opened and the girls hadn't been there yet
and so it warranted a trip into town.
everyone who was home that evening tagged along.
we girls spent a long time at the clothing store
and found lots of good bargains.
i think all the girls walked out with at least a few purchases.
wayne and colter found other stores much more interesting-
so while they went to find man stuff they left us girls to do our thing.
but james tagged along with us, because he's a baby yet.
although he thinks he's about five or six.
he grabbed the skirt his mom was holding, stood in front of the mirror
and slipped it over his head and then turned around to show us. 
he's a goofy little guy. 

the kids found some of the little rides 

and the bubble gum and candy machines

and begged for quarters.

and like the paparazzi

i was there to snap photographs.

because that's what i do.

after all that hard work of heavy shopping everyone was hungry.

well thats not exactly true.

they were hungry because i hadn't fed them in hours.

somedays are just like that.

especially hot humid summer afternoons

when it's like 180 degrees

in the kitchen.

so we headed to taco johns.
but some among us are picky eaters

and they demanded french fries from mcdonalds instead,

because it's their favorite.

so they eat mcdonalds food inside taco johns.

and everyone is happy.

shopping and fast food.

our day is complete.
